ATS coordinates, controls, orders, and directs fuel servicing operations to include but not limited to daily accounting in accordance with Department of Defense (DOD) and Defense Energy Support Center Interim Policy and Procedural Guidance. We interface with the Fuels Accounting System (FAS) to manage fuel transactions and maintain sufficient peacetime operating stocks at minimum levels to support contingencies. In addition to daily interaction with base agencies on fuel matters, our management personnel play a key role in validating the inventory management plan (IMP) to ensure war reserve materials are always on the ready. ATS is particularly conscientious about ensuring services are performed in such a manner that all environmental protection obligations are not merely met but often exceeded. Our personnel have established an outstanding safety record in the industry.
ATS’s fuel distribution system operators (FDSO) are thoroughly trained on all safety requirements for servicing aircraft, vehicles, organizational tanks, and cryogenic servicing operations. Responsibilities include ordering, receiving, and performing quality surveillance of all products to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for intended use. Personnel accurately conduct critical analyses on a scheduled basis, in an environmentally safe manner, and in accordance with applicable DoD, federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
